Asgard's Wrath II

We joined forces with Meta to craft a visual identity for the most legendary VR game ever made: Asgard’s Wrath II. Our work included a logo overhaul for the series, a robust graphic language and type system, and a 3D animated teaser trailer to get fans excited for the game’s release.

A New Realm

The sequel to the wildly successful Asgard’s Wrath departs from the world of the Norse Gods and takes us on a journey into the mysterious realm of Egyptian mythology. You are the Cosmic Guardian — exploring ancient temples, assembling armies, and battling evil gods and monsters in a vast, open world in pursuit of the trickster god, Loki.

A Symbol Reborn

Our first task was resurrecting the Wrath logo and giving it new life. We sought to preserve the iconic aspects of the mark from the maiden game while finding opportunities to elevate it as a legendary symbol for this second chapter and beyond.

We refined the Wrath lettering — smithing its sharp corners and rugged details with precision to improve its visual balance and legibility. We also crafted a distinct set of stone obelisk-inspired numerals to represent the sequel and further signal the new world of the game.

The Design System

The theme of good vs evil and the Ancient Egyptian-inspired setting set the tone for our graphic language. We developed a rich visual system to frame the world of the game, supporting an expansive library of key art and concept renderings.


A flexible gradient palette allows for various moods — from dramatic and heroic to ominous and sinister — giving every touchpoint of the game’s marketing a look and feel that’s versatile yet distinctly Asgard’s Wrath.

We also armed our system with a custom, gilded typeface — creating a unique version of Albertus Nova in weathered gold to give design and marketing teams a means to instantly generate messaging without sacrificing distinction and depth.


The Trailer

Prior to launch, we developed an epic cinematic trailer to tease the game and get the fans fired up for the return of Loki. Set in a dark and dusty tomb, we wanted to highlight a few of the key heroes and villains of Asgard’s Wrath II, giving audiences a glimpse of the story and evoking a sense of mystery, while showcasing the intense combat the game delivers.

Our film aired during the first game of the NBA Finals, sparking anticipation from eager fans and newcomers to the Quest platform.
