With the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour approaching, our friends at Riot Games asked us to craft a new identity and graphic system for the event — an annual esports competition hosting the top teams of the popular first-person shooter game.

ONE MORE

The theme of this year’s championship, hosted at the Forum in Los Angeles, was ONE MORE — a universal call to action and rallying cry for one more round, one more kill, one more victory.

The event demanded a high-energy, high-impact, and highly flexible visual system and graphics package to be deployed across marketing and tournament coverage that would speak to the highly-engaged VALORANT community.

Our visual concept took inspiration from the game mechanic itself and tried to capture that feeling of forward momentum. Using a flexible, three-dimensional perspective grid, every aspect of our visual system feels driven by that momentum.

We also created a bespoke type system, seamless background textures, and an animation language that allowed us to push through spaces and information in ways that evoke the non-stop energy of playing VALORANT.
