BUCK is a global creative company that brings brands, stories, and experiences to life through art, design, and technology.

When the opportunity to collaborate with Sony Pictures Animation on a key sequence for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse came our way, we were so excited we ran up the walls. 

For the sequence, we brought Gwen Stacy’s inner world to life and told the backstory to help set up the rest of the film. The idea was to do this in a painterly style that mimicked the character’s own comic book-style universe.

BUCK partnered with Thorne on Build to Last: an evocative, story-driven, global campaign that draws parallels between Thorne and the Wades' pursuit of excellence.

It was a dream when GRIT invited us to collaborate on a :30 ad for Splash Water, featuring an original track composed live by T-Pain on his Twitch stream.

We transformed a dreary bodega (and everyone in it) by unleashing a tidal wave of fruit-flavored refreshment. Next thing you know, there is roller skates, power suits, sequins, wigs, and fruit... everywhere.

A full 360 brand development and launch for Sense, a sexual wellness startup unapologetically embracing the world of play. From that first electric brush of skin to the steamy ravishings that follow, with Sense, safety isn't an afterthought or an intrusion — but a seamless, organic part of our journey.

With a sultry brand voice and bold visual identity (playfully dubbed "Body Language") to tantalizing product packaging, BUCK, dare we say, touched every inch of this brand.

On a hot summer day, what’s better than a refreshing drink that’s so delicious it catapults you into an alternate version of yourself with shiny pants and neon hair?

That’s the philosophy of our work for Gong Cha, helping the brand reach a wider audience in notoriously sunny Australia. The spot shows our characters escaping the heat and quenching their thirst with cool bubble teas and fun, bright toppings.

We teamed up with eBay Collectibles to build a marquee booth showcasing the eBay Vault at the Mint Collective — the pinnacle event of premier card trading. 

As the first major collaboration between Residence companies BUCK and VTProDesign, our activation celebrated the eBay Vault by melding the physical and digital — giving collectors an exciting chance to interact with their favorite cards.

Airbnb’s new “Aircover” protection program has your backside (and money) covered during your booking experience and stay.

We stepped in to help visualize memorable moments through a miniature, architectural dreamland built entirely by hand while a cast of composited CG characters revel in the joys of a stress-free vacation. 

Ahhh, the thought alone gives us itchy feet.

Microsoft x BUCK: Shaping A Legacy

Through a blend of styles, some comedic charm, and the aid of a rubber duck, we set out to help the world’s biggest software development company, GitHub, unleash their raison d’être to the masses.

The result was this explainer film that remains true to the brand’s quirky wit and famously fun roots, flexing virtually every one of BUCK’s muscles along the way.

We teamed up with Zapier to create six animated snippets that capture the brand's sophisticated automation capabilities. Each animation was crafted with a distinctly different design and animation style.

We helped usher in the future of football with EA Sports’ “Future Stars” team that showcases three up and coming stars: Julián Álvarez of Man City, Karim Adeyemi of Dortmund, and Vitinha of PSG.

For this spot we drew on a mix of techniques (2D, 3D, and cel) to capture the excitement you feel on the pitch. Special thanks to our amazing partners at EA and our all-star BUCK artists who turned this around in a month.

Our spot for Blue Moon celebrates the ballpark beer through its conception at Coors Field in 1995, illustrating its game-changing, Valencia orange-infused flavor, and connection to America’s favorite pastime.

BUCK was asked to help WePresent (WeTransfer’s awards winning arts platform, acting as the company’s cultural torchbearer) decide how to best utilize the immersive screens at Outernet London. 

Besides being an opportunity for us to show off the nifty WeTransfer mnemonic we designed to a live audience, we were able to create and develop a cohesive look to the overall exhibition in the form of modular design templates.

We partnered up with Mailchimp and Kin and got in the local “Best Of” hotspots game, developing an animated short film tour of the best your ‘hood has to offer. 

But instead of recommending the same burger joints or tourist traps, we asked ourselves, “What if the good places in town are the places that do good?”

Blur approached BUCK with this seed of an idea for the third season of Netflix’s “Love, Death + Robots” —  “a zombie apocalypse in tilt shift” — and asked if we could make it funny.

We said hold our tiny beer.

Dior wanted sparkle and shine for the holidays, so we collaborated with Meta to bring some elegant AR wonder to their holiday campaign: Dream in Dior.

Four site-specific experiences in Seoul and Paris, an at-home experience, and a point-of-sale experience across hundreds of locations adorned and transformed multiple environments through a blanket of stars, glittering artworks, and ornate visual feasts.

UW Health, a certified national health system that sees 720,000 patients per year, believes that each person is a unique work of art. 

To emphasize this point, they wanted a collection of moving paintings to bring this idea to life, so they partnered with us to tell some poignant stories that encapsulate the experiences of some of their patients.

Illumina is the leader of genomic sequencing, pioneering technology to help solve humanity’s most complex problems.

For their first ever brand film we wanted to avoid the traditional hype film so prevalent in the world of tech. 

Instead, we set out to capture the soul of the company and pursued deeper truths through fluid, animated visuals that lead the audience on a journey from dream to reality.

Coda brings all your words, data, and teamwork into one powerful document. Familiar and simple, but evolved for modern workflows. 

Together with Coda, we dreamed up arresting combinations of animals, plants, and tools that represent the powerful mashups of productivity possible within a Coda doc. We then rendered these fictions of biology as whimsical naturalist drawings complete with faux Latin names.

Maybe nature can’t keep up with our imaginations. But Coda can.
