Circle HQ Screen

2025

Circle needed more than a lobby screen; they wanted to inject a sense of life into their space — they wanted a pulse. We built "Portal" — a living, breathing, digital ecosystem for their NYC hub. Instead of a static loop, we designed a modular engine of high-fidelity 3D motion and live-action sequences. The system scales and shifts in real time, evolving throughout the day to translate Circle’s abstract values into a tactile, responsive, cinematic experience.

Our Narrative

Circle’s NYC hub needed to move at the speed of their tech. We ditched the corporate "welcome" for a high-concept narrative: Unlocking Possibilities. The result is a scalable visual engine that translates "borderless innovation" into a sublime, cinematic experience. Leadership doesn't have to be loud to be felt.

The narrative was anchored in three specific brand pillars: Partnership & Community, Growth, and Innovation. By treating these themes as interchangeable visual metaphors, BUCK ensured the Portal's story remained highly cohesive but constantly evolving.

A Temporal Toolkit

This work required a responsive toolkit. The "Portal" system centers on three 3D narratives: Growth, Partnership, and Innovation, each evolving across nine time-of-day variations. Complemented by seamless 2D transitions, brand-heavy logo loops, and flexible mortises for live-action and type, this piece was designed to scale from a 30-minute block to a perpetual brand presence.

Sequence is everything. We move from "content" to "curation" with a logic-driven Run of Show. The color science mirrors a city time lapse: Dawn is an ethereal, low-contrast wake-up call; Day is high-octane and crisp; Dusk is a warm, sophisticated transition into the night. A 24-hour evolving visual that keeps the space alive.

Visual Approach

We engineered a translucent 3D system that balances the weight of concrete and plaster with the lightness of colored plexi and glass. Bold shapes rotate through a spectrum of shifting hues, using sub-surface scattering and incandescent glows to turn "brand assets" into a high-end architectural experience.

We designed interlocking geometries to represent Circle’s collaborative community. By leaning into translucent, shifting materials, we turned "trust" and "transparency" into a tactile visual experience. The portal's color palettes and tone actively shift depending on the time of day allowing the installation to feel fresh and alive.
